The oil pan seems to be sitting right on the cross-member, and has caused a crack or split and oilt is dripping out at a constant rate.
I checked the Motor mounts (did the brake/drive/reverse thing to check IF the were broken) NOT the case, but they seem to be "sagging",,,the rubber parts "look" "stressed".
Could it be that the motor mounts NEED replacing?? Will that bring the engine up higher, so the pan clears the crossmember??
Also, can the pan be replaced by lifting the enging up slightly OR does it need to come out ALL the way??
I quess I can replace the motor mounts by "lifting" the motor up by the pan (with wood& Jack) and too, do I have to loosen the Trans Mount??
