No-one is insulting you as such. Atheists simply see any form of religion as ridiculous and will say so. There is a difference between stating the obvious and 'insulting' someone or something.
Fact is, those who have accepted reality into their lives pity you rather than insult you - until you do something unacceptable to society at large. Then stand by for a barrage of insults.
Do I need to point a finger at a group that needs insulting?

ATHEISM - THE ONLY LOGICAL CHOICE.

There will never be peace
because people are too proud
I've read many people say that Islam is a cult
or that the 'leader' was a pervert, pedophile, ect.
but the so called 'leader' of that "cult" is God Almighty.
Not the messenger.
God Himself.
So it's too bad people show so much hate my friend
I just ignore their closed-minds
and their sick insults with no intelligent backing

Wouldn't it be great if everyone just expressed the positive and harmonious in their lives and speech. Insulting something is showing the opposite and to me it is showing a lack of character and self esteem. Those who are comfortable with themselves feel no need to insult.

Exactly "From the Lebanon", I understand where you're coming from. Sadly, the Western World has taken this strategy. Of course you can't insult it. I don't know why they think they are superior enough to go insulting any religion or ideology they please. But what can we do but try to make amends about what people are believing Islam is. Take care.

By my saying that I believe that Muslims have incorrect beliefs, I am not insulting Muslims or Islam. I am expressing my opinion that my beliefs are correct.

Muslims say that Christians have incorrect beliefs. That doesn't insult me. You believe what you want, I'll believe what I want, and hopefully one day we'll find out if either or both of us were correct.

I can't insult anything, including myself, whether I believe in it or not. A person can only let himself be insulted. If a person makes a statement that causes me to "be insulted," the problem is mine...not the one's who made the statement.

It's easy, how does a non cynic insult a cynic? The same way that someone who doens't believe in God insults someone who believes in God.

Absolutely not! For example, I don't believe that Krishna is God ......... but I will never give bad attributes to him - out of respect for the people who worship him.

Logic and insults don't go hand in hand

Not in my book. Especially in areas of faith, who am I to suppose that my religion is "better" than your religion?

If I make comments, it is because i have direct knowledge of that which I speak. For the most part, my comment would be "I do not know enough to make a reasoned judgment on it."
