Please help my Grandson Christmas He is needy Too 2006

REALLY A Bigger Boy Bike for HIS age (7) but can fit an age 8 too
My grandson is going to be 7 on 12/12/06
I am Disabled and have been for 5 yrs. And It's been to hard for me to drive. I get SSI income because I am Disabled. that is all the money we get. I have been in and out of the hospital all year long. I pray for my health to get better. and now I have hepatitis B and do not know how I got it. I cannot go around people or drive to be around people all because of it. what a life to live. Right. Thank God my grandson Cannot get it. I have had him tested for it. and he cannot get it. Because he has had the shots for it. God is with us on this one. So We have hard time this year. My health is not in good shape at all these days. I pray

thanksgiving and Christmas are the time of year where people are the most giving. so your in luck i think.
call your local toys for tots and have his name added to thier list. do a search in google "toys for tots ___" with your states abrevation. or call the national office asking where your area's toys for tots is.
contact your local churches, they have members who sponosor a family. some even have food banks and holiday dinners for families going through hard times.
contact your areas hospitals, they too ususally have employee's or groups who sponsor a child or family.
contact your states bar assoc (legal), they have members who sponsor families also. call local lawyers and ask them if they know of any legal association who helps children at Christmas time.
contact your county mental health/counseling services and ask them to ask all of their counselors if they know of any group helping children for Christmas.
call all local charities and ask where to be directed to for help.
try an ad in the local paper asking for Christmas help. you may just be surprised.
open the phone book and start calling today. they need time to put it all together.
this is the only way you can help him, because of your situation. try not stress yourself out over this, for stress never helps anyones health. sometimes we have to swollow our pride for the sake of our children. its ok. they understand. just make some phone calls and put it in God hands.

My prayers are for you. I know that sometimes things can be really rough. Here is a site where people can post unwanted items for free. It is called Freecycle and they offer many things and you can also ask for things. When you open the page pick your area and then go see if you have one located in your county and/or town. Good luck!
Also call social services and ask if they have any places giving out Christmas gifts for children and while you are at it Christmas food baskets. You may get a nice turkey or ham

You can put his/her name on the Hunger Coalitions Christmas list. People go in and choose a name of a family to buy xmas gifts for.
You should call your local SOcial Services Office and inquire for him since you're family and all.

There should be places around you that do donate gifts for Christmas. I know our local Hospital does it here I am not sure how they get their families picked out but I am sure you could call yours and see if they do this and where you could sign up for this.

If you look in your area, there are always places, groups who offer help for children in need for the holidays. Or contact a local church, if you do not presently have one. Good luck, happy holidays.

you can call social serves and they will deliver the gifts and a food basket to your door and they will give you new shirts pants they will give you what ever you need for your grandchild good luck and i will prey for you to get better
