When trying to install weatherbug, my security systems says that there is a trojan virus in it and will not allow it to download. Has anyone else had this problem?

I had weatherbug on my computer at one time. I uninstalled it because it gave me a lot of problems. And if it is telling you that it has a trojan virus, believe it. After I uninstalled weatherbug, I ran my AVG-free anti virus program and it found a backdoor trojan. I now have only Weather Channel for my weather. It is safe and will not give you any problems.
Good luck.

Just download it and see what happens to your machine. I wish McAffee would have stopped me when I downloaded it. I received an unbelievable number of pop-ups and spam as a result of Weatherbug. It was a pain to get rid of, almost as bad as AOL. Most Internet providers now give local weather conditions. Try looking up local TV channels for their weather forecasts.

Don't bother...just go to weather.com

You don't even have to download THEIR little program--just save your favorite page on Internet Explorer. I have the weather map of central USA shortcutted!

(weatherbug is loaded with junk that slows down, or can even lock-up your computer.)

i like it. It supplies me real time climate education mutually with temperature, dewpoint, humidity, winds, etc. I definitely have long previous to climate stations employing WeatherBug during extreme storms and characteristic recorded winds around 60 miles in line with hour. So, it does artwork. even nonetheless, its climate indicators are somewhat not on time. based on Freight_Train's reaction: WeatherBug gets all of its indicators, and a few of its climate information from the NWS and its climate stations. additionally, a huge majority of WeatherBug's effective factors are unfastened.
