as far as i am aware ... Muslism respect both Jesus and Moses as prophets of God ... why would they insult their own prophets ?

It is obligatory for the Muslims (One who submits to Allaah - The One True God's Will) to believe, accept and love all the Prophets and Messengers that God sent. Amongst them that we are to believe in are Moses and Jesus. We believe that they from amongst the great prophets.
It is forbidden for us to insult any other persons religion or religous belief. But, discussion, debates are open providing they are based on tolerance, knowledge, wisdom and fair preaching.
People are quick to insult Islam and Muslims (due to ignorance, influence from media and mis-information). But, we are forbidden to insult them back. Truth will prfail and falsehood will vanish, in time. Those who are open, fair and just minded will come to realise and accept the truth.
Muslims believe that Jesus is one of the great Prophets, who Allah willed to be born miraculously without a father and to cure the ill, blow life into birds made of clay, all this by Allaahs Will. As a sign for all humaniy until the Day of Jusdgment.
Not many people know, not even the Christians themselves apart from a few, that Muslims are actually the closest people to Christians. www.crescentandcross.com

Comming from a muslim family, In all of my 18 years the main thing i have learned is that we believe in all the prophets christians and jews do. Jesus and Moses are our prophets like they are yours. If i wanted to insult them then it is like insulting Prophet Mohamed. There is no need. I feel it is pointless and rediculus and imature.

Because "From the Lebanon", Muslims do not insult any of the prophets. It's a sin and it shows that you (I don't mean you lol) have no respect for religion and it's figures. If we insult Jesus or Moses, we would stoop so low. We love Jesus and all the other prophets as much as we love Muhammad (pbuh) and nothing will ever compel us to insult them in any way.
For people accusing Mohammad: Mohammad (pbuh) never did anything to the Jews and Christians. He welcomed them and became their friends. If you don't believe than that's your problem but don't you dare tell us anything false about our prophet. We know him more. If you're willing to know more about him, then ask, don't insult. This is what the Western World has been doing and as a result, caused hatred for it throughout the Muslim World.

Simply because Moses and Jesus are loved by Muslims they are prophets too after all. To insult them would be insulting to God. People who insult the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) are really punishing themselves in the end why should i lower myself to there level?

A Muslim knows belief in all Prophets is mandatory. To insult any Prophet is simply ignorant, but those people will have there chance to explain why they ere so cruel when ALLAH judges them.

Hi there, I am a muslim, and yes i do get offended when people insult my religion or beliefs or Prophet Mohammed (PBUH)... It is very sad indeed to see to what extents people go to degrade others religions... I don't think as muslims I am supposed to insult Jesus or Moses... They both were prophets according to the Qur'an... And what difference will be there between those ignorant fools and myself... Allah says clearly... do not degrade your religion... that is, if you insult someone else's religion, they are bound to do the same to your religion... hence, indirectly you will be responsible of the insult to your religion... What we can do, is explain to them properly... it is upto them weather they accept or not... it is upto Allah (swt) to guide them... Give respect in order to gain respect...

There is no way for Muslim to Insult Jesus (pbuh) since he's our prophet as well.

I think people have a good time insulting Prophet Mohammed -may blessings and peace be upon him---- because they know how upset it makes us as Muslims.
We do not insult the other prophets because they are our prophets as well,
also, out of good old fashioned respect.
You would think that saying the same vile things over and over would get old for them, but they just keep at it.
Maybe one day they will change their mind. Only God knows.
