Plenty of options..
No1 Lighten the colour of the hair on you upper lip.. then it wont be as noticable..
No2. Laser surgery ( or electrolisis). though this can age the skin on the upper lip a bit..
No3. If it is coming up to a important occasion such as prom.. shave it.. but you better get electrolis done on it after as it will grow twice as quick
No4. If your friend is under 16, it can be kown as baby hair and it will go away after she is 18 or so.. a friend or mine had hair on her bottom back and face but once puberty was finished the amount decreased

Only bleach it if you have pale skin..if you have dark skin it will show up bright yellow! (when I was at school a girl in the year above did this..very embarrassing for her as people laughed at her!

Wax is good for some areas, but not always best on the fave as it can bring up a rash or little spots.

If you go to a salon remember you will be leaving with a red mostache where your hair used to be! so make sure you can dash home quick without seeing anyone to save you self the strange looks!

Cream is the best, make sure you only leave it on for the time it says on the box, be very careful, if you have sensitive skin you may want a cold wet flannel ready to reduce the redness.

Good luck!

Nair makes a hair removal cream especially for the face, which dissolves the hair. The cream doesn't smell very good, but the the hair takes as long to grow back as it would if you had waxed or threaded.

Yes electrolysis is expensive, although time consuming and yes permanent in the end. For a more realistic fix get your friend to go to her local beauty treatment centre and ask for a wax, this will be cheaper and yes will need to be retreated, but so much better than doing it with smelly creams and forking out a fortune. Besides we always love a trip to the beauty salon.

Whatever you do, dont tweeze, wax or use hair removal - this will only make the hair grow back thicker and more noticeable. The best thing to do is to bleach and trim the hairs.

If money isnt an object, you could try electrolysis, or laser removal

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are “permanent” hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

you should tell your ahem.... "friend" that what she needs to do is to book an electrolysis appointment. It will permanently remove all hairs from her upper lip.

If your "friend" has dark hairs then you (sorry, I mean she) can bleach them using Jolene bleach to make them less visible.

There are also Veet waxing strips for upper lip. This can also be done at any beauty salon.
