The abnormal behaviour or mallfunction of the body of an organism due to any internal or external problems is the proper definition of the word "disease".
The word disease is derived from the Roman word "Dissisk" meaning disturbance or irritation.
External microorganisms, namely viruses and bacteria are parasites of the body and are therefore coined to cause external diseases. Internal organic malfunctions, both physical as well as mental, mainly vitamin deficiencies are internal disease causing reasons. Even depression is a disease as it shatters the harmonious mental run.
