Any food is great if you have good appetite. You will hate the wonderful aroma of food if the tummy is full and may even thinking of food stuff may start salivation while you have sufficient appetite. Basically Indian food is more delicious not only because I love it but it is well cooked, added with proper spices to improve the secretions of digestive enzymes, has many health benefits like it possess anti-oxidants within the recipe and sequence of intake is also scientifically valid. The food can be best digested only if it is proper masticated. Saliva is the 1st and most important digestive enzyme. If you eat very fast, you may not be able to allow the saliva to get mixed with the food. This eventually leads to indigestion. Eat slowly, masticate it properly, perform little exercise but without even a days' gap, till the end of the last day of your life.

Great food can be in your own Kitchen :) Just use cook books, YouTube and other learning method to cook it. For instance I made this blog http://gingerandfruit.blogspot.com based on food I like to cook. I'm a vegan so I'm always looking for different flavorful recipes and realized some of the best food I can find is food I actually make. There will be hits and misses but a cook book or learning video is a great to bring great food to your own home :)

well im not that expierienced in cakes (just know the old christmas pud and stuff), but i think i can help you with other christmas foods. i live in spain, and here there is a veeery nice thing called turrón, which is this kind of tablet (like a chocolate one) which is very sweet and has almonds in it. its white, for more information, google it. also in spain, we have what is called a "Roscón de Reyes". It's for the Spanish celebration of the Three Kings, and it's like a round croissanty thing with a hole in the middle (its shaped like a ring) and it has sugar and thin almonds on top. Also, it's tradition to have a "sorpresa" hidden inside the roscón, which tends to be a small figurine. whoever finds the sorpresa has to buy the roscón de reyes next year. sorry i can't think of anymore right now, but good luck!!

The Czech Republic!!!

The food is so rich and flavorful! Svickova is my favorite meal. It is sirloin beef (very tender) served with an amazing sauce like gravy, a spoonful of cranberry sauce, a dollop of whipped cream over bread dumplings - YUM!

My second favorite is either gulosh or veprove, knedliky zeli which is roasted pork meat (again tender), bread dumplings and sweet sour kraut with carroway seeds.

Definetly not "light" food, but oh, so good!

You can find alot of recipes in English on line. Just put "czech recipes" in at google.

ZEN restaurant in Northampton, MA. I've been there when Richard Gere and his daughter were there. Not that that's what makes it a great restaurant but I doubt they'd be there if it weren't.
