My chest has been hurting on the left by my heart for 7 weeks. Everytime I breathe in and cough... I'm over it! Chest x-ray showed no rib fractures. They call it the 100 day cough...I'm going into 4 months!

I had whooping cough as well, and I know your pain. The best thing to do is not make the situation worse by rubbing it/massaging it. And of course don't overwork it with strenous exercise. I took a couple tylenol each day until the pain was tolerable enough to play in. And I play high school football. That chest muscle is tough to recover from. Good luck.

???? i imagine you're joking about the frog element, yet in case you do have Whooping Cough- I had Whooping Cough as a baby- steam does help. A vaporizer with mint or eucalyptus in it really is going to assist, and the herb Slippery Elm with soothe your throat and is possibility free even by the spoonful- do not inhale it although- you'll cough extra.. a teaspoon of slippery elm in honey would help.

~If it really is whooping cough and not 100 day cough, sue your parents for neglect for failing to have you immunized as an infant. Or, if they skipped the MMR/DPT/HiB series for religious reasons, pray your lungs out. By the way, if your doctor told you you had the 100 day cough, take a nice orange sauce with you the next time you see him because he's a quack. There is no such thing.
