Why do I hear my heart beat in my head?
I can hear my heart beat in my head especially if I hold and plug my nose. Sometimes I slighty hear it when I am sitting quietly.
What causes this. I am on BP meds a beta blocker. Sometimes I feel my pulse in other places in my body.

It's just your pulse. Sometimes it happens when you get really athletic, your heart beats faster, and you can feel it anywhere, especially in your head.

Oh MY GOD!!! You sound like...every other human being. Totally natural. the flow of blood shifts when you are standing or sleeping, or in the bath. Your ears hear the vibrations of your body quite well, which is why when you talk it drowns out most everything else, cause the vibrations happen right by your ear.You are just hearing the blood waves of your bodies oceans. Nothing is sweeter than the sound of someone elses racing heart after a good night.

Thats normal. When i get back from running alot i can hear it in my head too, so dont be scared. It happens to my friends too. And i can hear it in other places too.. but only when i run alot.

it is not your heart beating but rather your blood pumping through your veins.
