ive been dieting (no fat, small servings, mostly vegetables or unsweetened fruits) and working out (almost daily and over three weeks now, mostly cardio but also trying to burn down on different muscle groups - no its not muscles i gained, its all fat), and still i am permanently gaining weight. yeah, i know losing weight doesn t happen too fast, but i gain and gain... im desperate - i dont fit my clothes no more...
might stress play a role in this? ive been having quite a lot of it lately... my boyfriend says that might be a reason for it, but i only know people losing weight when they are stressed, not gaining
please please help me
i weight about 210 pounds now, i used to weigh about 190 two months ago, when i started dieting and working out i had about 200, how come i still gained? i just look horrible right now, the 190 were big already, but the proportions were all good, now my belly got huge, butt and breasts also, even my face too, i cant stand looking into th emirror no more

It looks like you have an "underactive thyroid", this really affects your metabolism and you have to really fight with your body to make sure you dont gain weight, those who have this condition gain weight really fast!
You need to go to your doctor and get a check up because it seems very strange that you excersise and yet you gain weight so it is likely you have a medical problem!

Do you know some people can actually increase their fat levels by reducing or not eating fat!
Fat is an important nutrient that the body needs to metabolise efficiently. How much and of what type is the issue. What may work for one person, more than likely will not work for another.
Consume a moderate amount of the "good" fats and cut out all together GRAINS! Do this for a few weeks a see if their is an improvement.

See you doctor. You may have a hypo-thyroid condition. Stress is the root of all disease, but I've never heard of it causing weight gain. Are you pregnant? This could cause the appearance of weight gain while you are dieting, but actually it may be water retention and fetal growth.

well, i don't know much about that problem but don't eat no fat... you need fat. just do some research first on what fats to eat, and roughly in what proportion. you may want to take vitamins, too.

but if you're eating like you say and gaining weight, there may be something drastically wrong, you maybe need a doc

Have you checked with your Dr. it might be a medical problem. I did the same thing and it was my thyroid. You might want to get it checked it if it is the problem it can cause a lot more problems, Good luck!
