It is best if you check in with your physician first, but I would say yes. Just don't take large amounts and don't use it more frequently then suggested.
My husband is on coumadin and he is allowed to take Tylenol per his doctor. Just don't use any anti inflammatory agents like ibuprofen, aspirin or aleve (naproxen) without checking with your physician as they effect the clotting ability of your blood too.

Acetaminophen (Tylenol) is not thought to have any interaction with warfarin (Coumadin - I have writtten an article of the history of warfarin if you are interested). In fact - however - some people do experience an increase in anti coagulant effect when taking acetaminophen although this is typically seen only in long term use at dosages above 1600 mg daily and in the majority of cases in people taking other medications processed by the liver. I would say ask your physician but most are not aware of this data. johnerussomd@jhu.edu

Yes I agree with the other posts that tylenol (acetaminophen) is the best option while on coumadin (warfarin), but... This in no place to be getting advice for coumadin therapy. Coumadin can be a dangerous drug if not taken correctly. You need to direct these kinds of questions specifically to your doctor or pharmacist.

What is the most important information I should know about acetaminophen?

You should not use this medication if you have severe liver disease.
Do not take more of this medication than is recommended. An overdose of acetaminophen can damage your liver or cause death. Call your doctor at once if you have nausea, pain in your upper stomach, itching, loss of appetite, dark urine, clay-colored stools, or jaundice (yellowing of your skin or eyes).
In rare cases, acetaminophen may cause a severe skin reaction. Stop taking this medicine and call your doctor right away if you have skin redness or a rash that spreads and causes blistering and peeling.
