Okay well let me tell you about something you might not know. The secret shame of Africa.

Use google search and type "africa" + "dry sex" into the search box.

You will find out something very shameful about Africa, something the various agencies try to keep quiet about.

Although the major media and Hollywood would have you believe otherwise, the percentage which are heterosexual and don't use intravenous drugs is extremely small IN THIS COUNTRY... now Africa is a different story.

While I don't agree with the media feeding us misinformation, in this case they are doing so because society at large doesn't care very much about the populations which are most effected by aids.

I challenge you to find a gay man who hasn't lost at least one friend or lover to aids.

I don't have a numerical percentage for you, but the majority are male homosexuals, then heterosexual women, heterosexual men, then lesbians (VERY few lesbians have AIDs). The numbers for heterosexuals are rising steadily every year, though. AIDS is a very big problem for many heterosexuals in Africa.

According to the CDC, in 2004 there were 13,128 AIDS cases from heterosexual contact. 5,149 were men, 7,979 were women.

There were 17,691 cases from men who have sex with men.

65% of HIV infections are among men who have sex with men. Heterosexual males only make up 16% of male HIV infections, while 78% of women with HIV got it from heterosexual contact.
