I live in an apartment complex, all units have 2 Bedrooms in them, there are many illegal families here that move in other families. The apartment next door has 5 adults and 6 kids in there, that canno't be good for the children. There are other units here too that are full of illegals and I fear for my safety-It used to be a nice place to live until recently. Management knows of the situation but, says that they can't prove that they all live here because we are allowed to have visitors, their children go to school from here so obviously they live here. Plus Management has to give 24 hour notice upon entering an apartment-by that time they get out of there then come back when the coast is clear. How can I as a citizen turn these people in - How can I make it obvious to Management? We plan on moving out of here when our lease is up, but I have to deal with this for another 7 months.

Get Ready....This is Good

I have a friend
who is president of his homeowner's association in Washington.

They are having a terrible problem
with trash on the side of the road
that is around his association's homes.

The reason according to (the friend) is,
there is being built just next to them, six new homes.....big ones!

(the friend) said
the trash is coming from the Mexican work crews
working at the construction sites.
(McDonald Bags, Burger King trash, etc).
He has pleaded with the site supervisors
and the general contractor to no avail,
called the City,County, the Police and got no help.

So ..... guess what some people in his community did?

They organized about twenty folks,
named themselves The "Inner Neighborhood Services"
to go out at lunch time and "police" the trash themselves.

It is what they did while picking up the trash that is HILARIOUS !

They got some navy blue baseball caps
and had the initials "INS" ("Inner Neighborhood Services")
in bright yellow put on the caps.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist, however,
to understand what they hoped people would think it means.

Well the day after their first pick up detail,
with them wearing their caps
and some carrying cameras;
46 out of 68, of the construction workers
did not show up for work the next morning ......
and haven't come back yet,
and it's been ten days.

Now the General Contractor,
we understand
is madder than hell,
but can't say anything publicly,
because he could be busted for hiring "illegal aliens".

(the friend) and his bunch
can't be accused of impersonating INS folks,
because they have it on their home owner association records
the vote to form the new committee within their association,
plus they informed the INS
about what they were doing in advance,
and the INS said basically according to (the friend)
"have at it"!

I THINK YOU COULD SAY
THAT YANKEE INGENUITY is alive and well.

Have Fun !

First off, how do you know they're illegal? Have you asked to see their papers? Secondly, if the building management knows of the situation and seriously wants to do something about it, they should be able to contact the school district to find out how many children have listed that specific apartment as their residence. Thirdly, are they disturbing you by doing anything other than their mere existence? Usually there are city ordinances regarding loud noises outside of certain hours; if they violate those rules, you could call the cops. Or, you could treat them as the human beings they are and talk directly to them.

it is obvious that the management is allowing this. Keep in mind if they make too much noise after curfew hours, you can call the police for disturbance. And if you plan to call ICE, make sure that they're illegals, because you do not want to look bad when they wind up be legals.

Contact the US Immigration services. They will give you a number to call locally so you can inform them of your problem in the area. Are you white? If so, then be careful when the immigration starts showing up. Everyone will be looking at you because of them showing up. I definitely recommend it calling though.

Call the child protective agency if they let their kids roam, report them for child abuse. Or call the City ordinance Department if they have cars with parts missing that's a city offense. Call the dog pound. Call in the Ninjas!!

Call Ice, Immigration Customs and Enforcement!

Call your local police dept. and file a noise complaint every time they do it. Also, write a letter to your city council and apprise them of what's up. Failing that, your state representatives, and the state police...

first of all re: cheeseball lady's response, If they are illegal, then I no longer care about their rights....they don't have any civil rights....now back to the original posters question...call 866-347-2423. also, since mgt knows about this, then they are allowing them to break the rules...they should allow you to break the rules also....go ahead abreak a rule and see if you get called on it...if ya do, then you could blame mgt for discrimination, which is illegal in business.

Go over the head of the manager.
The corporation or owner of the apartments might want to talk to the manager.
