I was also operated for ASD though not D-TGA.
Usually the doctors suggest that the patient be overviewed by the cardiac physician after 3 months in the first year of surgery . Later to six month and still later after that once a year.
So I would suggest you show her to your cardiac physician.
There should be more details explaining when does she feel the fatigue to compare and tell if it is normal to be tired like how she gets.
Overall I would say once operated succefully and little care is taken the first few years and later of the food habits she will remain hale and hearty all along her life.
I have grown almost 5.9 and can do all the normal activities and enjoy life to the fullest.
Good luck and may God bless your daughter.

Transposition of the Great Arteries or (TGA) has multistage corrections. Has to ascertain what exact procedure is being done. And is there any possiblities to completion of the sequence. With the copy of operation records, Please consult Cardiologist and Congenital Heart Surgeon for the possible remedies.

The patient will continue to see a cardiologist on a regular basis. Although these appointments are required less frequently as time goes on, they will continue throughout the lifetime of the individual, and may increase in the event of complications or as the individual approaches middle age.
The cardiology exam may include an echocardiogram, EKG, and/or cardiac stress test in addition to consultation.
Additionally, some individuals may require ongoing medication therapy at home, which may include diuretics (such as lasix or spironolactone), analgesics (such as tylenol), cardiac glycosides (such as digoxin), anticoagulants (such as heparin or aspirin), or other medications.
