How much honey or muscovado per day is too much and thus bad for diabetics (in measurement by grams or table spoons.)?

Apparently, honey is 3 times sweeter than sugar, so you would only have to use 1/3 the amount of honey as you would sugar. See this article for a quick reference:

Honey is pure carbohydrate, which diabetics should avoid, so it's not a great choice for diabetics. Everyone is different, but it would make many (most) people's blood sugar increase dramatically, so even small amounts should be avoided, but use your meter as a guide. I don't know what muscovado is, so I can't comment on it.

Honey is very sweet. It is usually used to bring someone's blood sugar up. If you are looking for a good alternative sweetener, use Splenda.
