yes it is advisable to take your HT medications before bed. during the night while we sleep, our bodies are at rest. however, in the early morning hours, as part of our circadian rhythm (sleep pattern) our bodies produce cortisol and other chemicals that can actually increase your blood pressure as we awaken. therefore it is actually beneficial to take your meds either before bed or right when you wake up. Heart attacks, even though can occur at any time of the day, are more prone to occur in the morning due to our bodies' natural production of these hormones.

It does not matter(although a diuretic really should be taken during the day so you can sleep all night not pee all night) But whatever you do just take it about the same time eveyday ...whatever time it is...

If it is a diuretic, NO! Anything else should be fine. If you are concerned, ask your pharmacist, that is part of their job.
