doctor called and said my pap test came back abnormall.and i just had a babby she is 2 mnths old do you think me having another baby would be safe to do or would it harm the baby???
i have 2 kids but in case thay have to do surgery or something like that i want to atleast have all the kids i want before i cant have any more do you think i should or not???????

first of all an abnormal pap doesnt automatically mean its HPV it could be cervical dysplasia which is just abnormal cells on the cervix. It could possibly be from having the baby...tearing and scarring can cause those cells to grow.
Second, having hpv doesnt mean you need surgery. They might do a biopsy to see exactly what kind of cells they are and if theyre harmfull. its not going to necessarily hurt your baby if you have hpv. The baby could contract it through a vaginal birth if you have the warts on your cervix. If you never have and you dont while its time for the birth your baby should be fine, remember its sexually transmitted. Good luck hun!

wait until you talk to your doctor. If your pap is abnormal they should be calling you in for more tests. If you have hpv you can be treated and be rid of it. I had hpv in my early 20s and received treatment. now I'm in my late 30s with 2 kids. so hpv doesn't mean you won't be able to have any kids.
