Hi, Sara, would you like to try a recipe I myself discovered last week to be delicious, so much so, that I'm making it again tonight, as I type this, because it was just Soooo good?

First off, can you include Clams? This makes a difference....
(maybe you can sift out clams, but hey, eat em, they're good)
OK, here's my recipe: ((Herewith, Copyrighted, hehehe))

1- 18.5 ounce can Progresso New England Clam Chowder
1/2 cup, Green Giant Frozen green peas
4 Tbsp. margarine, butter
2/3 cup, peeled baby carrots
1 cup, chopped or sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 yellow onion, chopped into fine cubes

OK-- blend the first three ingredients above in a medium saucepan, and let simmer over a medium flame, until the watery content of the soup has evaporated.
Next-- add the fresh carrots, the mushrooms and the onions, LONG after the watery content has boiled down (about 10 mins)
cover this mixture, and allow to simmer another 10-15 minutes or until the fresh veggies are nearing tender, But not all the way there!! This is the key, allow them to stay kinda al-dente!!

Remove from heat (mixture oughtta be thick), and serve to eager guests and friends alike, who later will be singing your praises as a chef!!
**Feeds three**

Thank me very much!

The other night I had a craving for a veggie version of a Philadephia chicken steak sandwich (made with faux chicken instead of steak of course) but I had no rolls. I came up with a platter instead.

I sauteed Quorn tenders with a dash of kitchen bouquet. I moved the quorn into the center of the pan and topped it with a slice of cheddar cheese and carmelized onions that I made earlier. Once the cheese was melted, I served it. It was really fantastic and was just like the real thing.

Delicious, vegetarian meals? Unless it's a cheese pizza the two are mutually exclusive.
