I cannot see that if you stop taking omega 3 it will cause heart palpatations but you can get omega from eating oily fish.

Omega 3 fatty acids have no effect on heart rate or palpitations. Taking them will not lead to palpitations so stopping them has no influence on palpitations. Omega 3 is increasingly common but it is not something that I recommend under any circumstance in my practice so stopping this may not be such a bad idea. If you would like the long version of omega 3 fatty acids please send me an email johnerussomd@jhu.edu. By the way - palpitations are normal - we all experience them although we are not all aware of them.

omega-3 fatty acids are just a fat that you eat as part of your diet. If you are having heart palpatations you should consult with a doctor though.

I should think the only harm that could come from that is the lowering of profits from all the companies that advertise and produce it
