Honey is the sweetest naturally occuring food substance but nothing you eat causes diabetes. Diabetics must restrict sugar as they have difficulty handling it but eating sugar or sweets does not cause diabetes. Mixing honey with water is OK to do but it is not really healthy and it is not 'good' for the skin. It has no effect on the skin. There may be a health reason to avoid the regular use of honey as it is a natural product with a unusually high number or reactions from impurities.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.
Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

No, honey does not cause diabetes. Diabetes is a disease in which your body does not metabolize sugars properly. Pretty much everything you eat is eventually converted into starches and sugars, but you will want to stay away from eating a bunch of simple sugars. A teaspoon of honey every now and then will probably not do much harm. He just has to watch the rest of his diet carefully.

Honey is sugar - right. Honey does not cause diabetes.
The leading cause of diabetes is obesity and a sedentary lifestyle.
Heredity is a factor however, you can make that factor negligible if you live a healthy, active lifestlye and control your carbohydrates.
Keeping your weight down and activity up is the key to protecting yourself from Type II Diabetes.

Diabetes is caused by environmental factors, genetics and gene mutations. You must be predisposed to diabetes to get it in most cases. A poor diet and excess sugar do not help. Honey is a natural sweetener but contains Bactria and should never be given to children under 2 years.

I am not going into the nitty gritty of diabetes here because it is not important to the question but...NO it would not "cause" diabetes. Eating sugar in itself does not cause it. It might become a problem if he drinks a lot of it all the time.
There are two types of diabetes. One is when you are born with it. (type 1) and the other (type 2) you get later in life because your body stops working properly or your lifestyle contributed to it not working properly.
as far as getting healthy and good skin - I don't think there is any prove of that.
