Broccoli is one of my favorites. Especially boiled/steamed with a Red French or Italian drizzled on it!

I LOVE broccoli. It's my favorite veggie and one of the healthiest too. Sometimes for a quick snack I stirfry it with some sesame oil and teriyaki.

My folk's had a farm - we grew broc-cabbage-carrots-corn, cow & sweet, sugar peas-cukes- strawberries,cauliflower- everything that would grow in western Washington. Broccoli is one of my favorites that grew on our farm. Also my horse Brownie enjoyed all the fruits & veggies that grew on the farm too.

Love it, love it, love it!
simple as lightly boiled, drained, with cheese sauce over it...
holiday potluck recipe
1 package of frozen broccoli florets
1 jar cheese whiz (8oz)
1 can Campbell's cream of mushroom soup
1 cup raw uncooked rice
1 small onion, chopped fine
1 small green bell pepper, chopped fine
2 tablespoons butter
salt/pepper
method: boil up the broccoli, drain and set aside. boil rice in 2 cups of water. set aside.
fry onion and bell pepper till onion comes clear...
mix broccoli, rice, onion/peppers, soup, cheese sauce, and salt and pepper and pour into a large casserole dish, bake on 350F.. for 20-25 min till bubbly and top starts to brown...
mmmmm! delicious! I take this to every occasion I go to and its easy and everyone including kids love it.

Yum! Lightly steamed (not soggy) broccoli is the best. It is also great with pasta and marinara sauce.

I love it steamed until just starting to soften. Serve it with a squeeze of lemon juice for even more flavour.
