Almond or oat milk: which is better? Plain, or vanilla flavored?

Depends on what you are using it for! Almond milk is sweeter, and a bit thicker in consistency. I prefer rice milk for cereal though. If the cereal is sweet, skip the vanilla flavoring in the milk.

They're all healthier than cow's milk!

Almond is MUCH better as it is made from nuts which are just chock full of protein. (Oats are instead, chock full of carbohydrates.)

I wouldn't flavor it at all, it tastes like ..... ALMONDS! Our family used almond milk for years as a substitute for lactose milk while our son was growing up, it tastes good, its healthy, nutritious, its just great!

Both are good. Take them alternatively but always plain. Why pollute them with vanilla?
