a couple of years ago, because my birthday is christmas and i was fed up of all the eating meaty of food on my birthday, and having to settle for sprouts roasties and other chrimbo veg ( i was a vegan at the time) we went to the local balti takeaway on christmas eve and got a load of meals, some meaty, some veggie and sundries and naan bread etc etc and heated them up un christmas day, cheaper than turkey et al and also not as dangerous as you might think.
yummy yummy balti curry, eat it up in a hurry

Lunch is more of a snack before Christmas dinner. I like to keep it simple so that it slips in between gift opening and dinner preparations. My grandkids always liked what I do.
A couple of pounds of the frozen precooked shrimp (defrosted, of course), some cocktail sauce, a fresh veggie tray with veggie dip, and some humus and cheese and crackers. Add some sliced pepperoni and maybe some bite sized fruit and it can sit on the table to snack on between playing with new toys.

Soup and beerbread. It is soooo good! Tastefully Simple makes great and healthy food. Just add water to the soup and simmer. The beerbread can be made with any drink with fizzz.....dont have a beer? Thats ok, use a soda, sprikling cider, creme soda, anything! You have to just try it. CHEAP too!! My husband loves the Cheesy Pepper Soup with the Bountiful Beer Bread. He puts the bread in the soup.
Check it out!!

identity say, purchase them some much less high priced grants or something they choose and cause them to earn the money for the stuff they choose. they sound like ungrateful wenches. the 17 year previous could be helping out around the abode, not making your life greater solid and the 13 year previous could be doin the comparable difficulty. clarify to them that till they learn that BEING solid ALL year is the area of having christmas presents, that they choose- till that element they'll proceed to recieve in basic terms issues that they choose.... and iant it slighlty a sprint alte interior the year to be determining to purchase those issues? I propose htey choose all this high priced stuff and your a single mom. besides, they didnt get you not something ...why could you waste your money on the ungrateful brats? ANd dont in basic terms purchase them stuff because of the fact theyre dad is a actual A********.. sounds such as you have a situation thats greater advantageous than christmas wit your toddlers.
