No...there is no cure for Herpes! You should really tell them! It's only fair! I know there is a common misconception that Herpes isn't contagious unless you are having a breakout...but that is simply not true! Herpes goes through "viral shedding"; so this means it is always contagious! You should be honest with your sexual partners...and remember how you got it in the first place!

This is my honest opinion and I may get a lot of crap for it, however, here is goes. I got it when I was 18, 5 years ago. Only 1 person knows, the person who gave it to me by mistake. I have had other boyfriends and other partners but I haven't told them. I haven't told them because 1.) I'm ashamed and I don't want anyone to look down on me, 2.) If I'm not going to marry them, really whats the point in putting myself out there? 3.) I take Natural Remedies and it's extremely rare I have an outbreak. 4.) No one that has been with me has ever came to me and told me that they suddendly now have it, meaning I'm alway careful. I know that I may not ever tell anyone I have it. This is my thing and until I'm on my way to a marriage I may not ever tell. Hate me if you want, but I know I'm not alone, that is why it's so popular, which is it! Don't let anyone fool you!!!
This Herpes things, is just an inconvience to you. Now you have to be more careful and cautious, and sleeping around without protection is no longer an option. It doesn't change you as a person, it doesn't take any morals, values, opportunities from you, it's just sucks. So don't think you are less of a person.
Keep taking Valtrex if you wish, but I HIGHLY RECCOMMEND also take 3-6 500 mg of L-Lysine a day. You can get it anywhere they sell Vitamins. For 100 tables it's like 4 bucks and last forever. If you ever feel an outbreak increase those pills and you are good to go. Since I started taking them I rarely have an outbreak and haven't felt the whole shedding thing.
good luck, never let this keep you down and never limit yourself dating anyone.

I got clinically diagnosed with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about six years ago, when I was still attending college and had a stupid one-night stand. I just made a massive mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone that has sores around her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this video everything changed https://tr.im/HerpesTreatment2o15yHTB
Not only was I able to clear away all traces of the hsv from my body in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating once more. I even met the man of my dreams. This method provided me the opportunity to be happy and experience real love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the whole World.

No more horrible than the person who gave it to you. How do you think so many people came have it?
I know of people who contracted it after two years of sleeping with one person, though the carrier never had any signs of having it(according to her). There is a chance you could give it to your partner, though it might not be very high.
For anyone else reading this: One of the other big reasons herpes is spreading so much is that the clinics won't test for it unless there's symptoms or someone specifically asks to be tested for it. So getting a 'clean' result isn't, necessarily.
If so many people have it(one in 5, last I heard) that gives you a pretty big pool of people to choose from. Finding a partner who is similarly infected would relieve most of the guilt, risk, and blame associated with being sexually active, I think.
