i bet money that u will not carry that baby until Christmas. no way!!! i went from 3 centimeters to having a baby within 2 hours. everyone is different though. its according to a lot of other factors. percentage effaced, position of baby (is the baby in the birth canal). good luck to ya

Congratulations, you will soon have a baby. Look at it this way, you are 3 cm ahead in the game. I think you are probably going to deliver a little early. Just think of it like this.......its 3 cm you are ahead in the game. It took me hours and hours and hours to dilate 3 cm. I suffered thru every centimeter, it was terrible. You must be meant to have babies.

It depends. I went three months, but that was after a premature labor that was successfully stopped. You might make it to Christmas Day - who knows?
