What exactly does it mean for food to be Kosher?

I think it something with the Jewish religion, but I'm not sure.

It means that the food is prepared, packaged, and served according to certain Jewish dietary laws. Generally, meat & dairy products are kept totally separate.

yes it is something with the jewish religion. I think it may have something to do with being around pork, i don't know
