After the war he lived in Ukraine.
I haven't information about his travel to UK.

I think you may have to research your uncle in the Ukraine, because that is where his certificate of birth etc. will be. If they came to this country to live, you may find some information about them if they married here and had children here, Try one of the genealogy sites, type in his details and see what comes up.
