ive been hearing from friends that "most People" have it and even more people are caring virus

At any given instant, about 20 million people have it in the US. The majority of people (75%) will have it at some point in their life.

As to why it isn't talked about, that's trickier. A lot of people don't know they are infected... it often has no symptoms, and most infections clear up without treatment in less than a year.

For the poor suckers who do get one of the versions that causes a)genital warts or b)cancer, there's no actual cure, and (here's the best part) condoms are only partly effective in preventing transmission! Yes, you can get this fun customer through dry humping! Even those people who do know they have it may be too ashamed to reveal their status, or unwilling to forgo sexual contact forever. And as for men, there is no current reliable test for HPV, so they may very well never find out if they are asymptomatic.

It's a bummer, really.
