Im 16 years old and i have been smoking for around 2 years.

No X Ray of the lungs are to see if there are any holes in ur lungs but it wont show that u smoke unless the only cause of the holes can only be from smoking

It could show signs that you have smoked yes. If you have damage to your lungs from smoking it will show up, if you have tumors, cancer, etc it will be detected on the xray. You are 16yrs old and if you have been smoking 2 yrs and your family cant tell then that in itself is a problem. Non smokers even if they hang out around smokers do NOT smell as bad as those that smoke.

Depends on how much you smoke. The damage from smoking can show up as shadows where the particulates from the smoke stay in the lung.

Chest X-rays have not been shown as an effective means to screen for cancer in asymptomatic people, but are effective in showing other disease processes such as enlarged heart. They will also show things such as granulomas and other masses.

Yes, they can determine if a person is a smoker versus a non-smoker. The lungs are not as clear in a non-smoker (somewhat greyed) on an x-ray.

Lung Damage will appear. Also, Lung Cancer, Tumors, Emphysema, COPD. Further Tests would be needed such as Pulmonary Function and Pulmonary Series.

It depends on how much you smoke and for how long you've been smoking.Normally they can see it though.
