I want to know about personal experiences of having radio frequency ablation to cure an SVT arrythmia. Was it a success or what side effects you recieved from it etc.

The neat thing about radio catheter ablation is that it is known at the time of the procedure that it is successful as the electro physiologist will try to induce an abnormal rhythm prior to taking the catheter out. The risk of the procedure is about the same as the risk of cardiac catherization with the caveat that not all induced rhythms are easily ablated but there is no safer place to experience an abnormal heart rhythm.
