if you have no insurance and will be paying cash, just know that EVERYTHING is negotiable. even health-care procedures.
I have a friend who had no insurance and had to go into the hospital for a procedure. He actually was able to negotiate (dicker) on the price! Make THEM an offer - tell them how much (little) you are willing to spend. And shop around! Rates for CT scans can differ by several hundred dollars even in the same general location. Best to go to a smaller outside clinic than to a big hospital (rates are higher in big hospitals - they more overhead).

Good luck!

I had a full body CT scan about a year ago and it cost $440. Probably not much more or less than that I would guess. Call around and speak to several places and just ask them their cost. Most will quote you a price.

The costs mentioned by previous posters sound about right,
depending on your location. To find out how you can save
up to 50% or more on CT scan, MRI and such, check
the website below. It is a health membership under
"new medical program" and they won't deny you.
