I would certainly think the opposite is true. I do, however, feel that marijuana SHOULD be legalized for medical use in many other circumstances.

My brother is an asthmatic and after ten years his asthma has shown no sign of improving. He has been to several doctors but they didn't help much.
If you want a proven, all-natural way to cure your asthma, without having to pay for useless medications with harmful side-effects, then this is the most important page you'll ever read.

It's true that marijuana in a pill form WILL open up the capillaries in your lungs, but that's not the case if you smoke it. I am 100% for the legalization of marijuana, because it does help with plenty of medical problems, such as:
- glaucoma
- the side-effects of cancer chemotherapy
- muscular spasticity disorders
- the "wasting syndrome" associated with AIDS
- epilepsy
- morning sickness, and other side-effects of pregnancy (Though this is a VERY controversial subject).
Not to mention, the hemp is just as useful. Over 25,000 different products can be made from hemp in oil, seed or fiber form, such as...
- shampoos
- soaps
- cloth (..Did you know that, in 1853, the first pair of Levi jeans were made... From Hemp!)
- paper
- food (Hemp is currently used to make salad dressings, protein bars, breads, cakes, soups, beer, butters, shakes, breakfast cereals and many more food products and recipes.)
And many, many other products.
Sorry, got a little off-subject there. But to answer your question, marijuana can help with your asthma. I just wouldn't reccomend -smoking- it as a cure. (for obvious reasons).

No, glaucoma and eating disorders are the only two medical purposes for weed. Many people that are on chemo and have no appetite are prescribed weed, or marinol, to induce appetite. People with Glaucoma in the early stages are also prescrived marijuana in certain forms. But thats it. Not a cure for asthma.

Absolutely not. Any kind of smoking will make asthma much worse. Weed has more tars than cigarettes. If you have asthma, it could give you a fatal attack.

Seriously "smoking" mean burning the leaves of marijuana, which is bad for you. It's contain tar but not as much as tobacco. The proper way to help asthma is by vaporizing the content of the chemical known as THC into hot air and inhale the vapor just like inhaling a inhaler(hey it doesnt sound right.). well thats about covering it. Anything i will answer again. Thanks.

Umm.......marijuana opens the capillaries in your lungs, so technically yes. I'd think you'd get an asthma attack before it helps you though. It is in pill form and various other medicines mimic marijuana.
I'd not smoke it, if asthma is the case. Especially if you do it frequently, you're gonna get a tar build up.
So mairjuana ...YES
Smoking marijuana - no

Morphine acts as a respiratory depressant and a cough depressant, so while you feel that smoking weed would be helping you out, the smoke component would be harming your airways further! so don't smoke at all!

I think a form of marijuana (taken as pills, not being smoked) may be prescribed for astigmatism, but defiantly not smoked for asthma.
