I had a head cold a week ago. My nasal passages are now clear and I can breathe great but when I talk, I still sound like I have a cold. Why is this?

You may still have larygitis. The infection may be leaving but you could still have mucous build up in you chest and throat. You could try some of those pills that break up mucous. If you aren't better after 10 days, you should see your MD
