I bought some inexpensive blenders and put out all the making for tropical friuty drinks and let the kids have at it. Also bought a case of leis which i used all over and the kids ending up wearing home. Limbo is always fun and so is passing an orange under the chin...depends on how interactive you want to be

I did that for my 26th bday. Order sand lay it around if your doin' outside. Or get a small kids pool and fill it up if inside or just dont wanna do the layin sand outside thing, put a bucket and some sand tools in there, tiki torches, get lays and hawiian decorations from any party store, We did ckn, shrimp, beef, cabobs with pinapple, tomatoes onions, peppers. Any any other grilled like hamb, hot dogs, jello w/ pinapple, the skirts, cocunts and island music.

And it just won't be right without this...

`okolehao
[oh koh leh hao']
liquor made from the ki root - Used to be a bootleg murderously strong moonshine.
Literal translation is, "rear end iron pot"; `okolehao was brewed in huge pots and the beverage can make it hard to find your rear end.

THE TOAST
Okole maluna!
[OH' koh leh mah loo' nah!]
Hawaiian translation of English toast, "bottoms up"
This toast is condemned by kupuna (elders) as vulgar, indecent, as the body is considered sacred.
"Ka mau! " (Forever!) is a more genteel toast.

Best wishes!

Use little umbrellas in your drinks. Find lots of tropical drink recipes and serve those. Also serve lots of tropical fruit!!!

I would suggest Sex on the Beach cocktails and fruit trays with pineapple and mango etc.
