Not really a "recipe," but absolutely wonderful --
Get your favorite vegetarian burger (I can't remember the name of my favorite at the moment! "Light" something, found in the organic section of the supermarket).
A portabella mushrooms cap.
A few slices of Swiss (you can change this if you want).
A hamburger bun/roll.
If you'd like add some lettuce, tomato, onions, etc.
I love to put BBQ sauce on mine.
Anyway, cook the veggie burger how you normally would. Dip the mushroom cap in some olive oil and let it sit on the stove for 5 or 6 minutes, and flip it and let it cook a little more (another 2 or 3 minutes). Put the mushroom onto the burger immediately, and then put the cheese over it while it's still hot (unless you don't want your cheese melted). It's so good!

i don't likely have a fave. I in basic terms love sandwiches in many circumstances. they're actual one among my well-known meals. I in many circumstances in basic terms throw a sandwich mutually from despite clean greens I even have reachable. recently it particularly is been uncooked beets, string beans, bell peppers, some style of oniony factor (onions, leeks, chives, scallions, etc.), homegrown lettuces & vegetables, nasturtium, & dill from my backyard, and a few vegenaise or dressing of a few variety in a wrap extremely of on bread. I additionally elect to throw in some style of chilly leftover tofu or seitan or something like that, if I even have any. And, i admire undeniable tomato or clean eco-friendly sandwiches this time of 12 months...in basic terms a lot of tomatoes or homegrown lettuces & vegetables with some vegenaise, and perchance in basic terms a sprint salt, dill, and/or basil. (heavily, there is not something like homegrown lettuces, vegetables & tomatoes.) regrettably, my tomatoes are nevertheless extremely small & eco-friendly good now using fact the climate has been so strange this 12 months, so i've got not had an incredible tomato sandwich yet. :( I loooove avocados on sandwiches too, yet they're extraordinarily costly right here, so i don't get them very in many circumstances. :( I in basic terms offered one the different day in spite of the undeniable fact that, using fact I plan on making some vegan sushi Friday evening. :) I additionally love falafel & a competent domicile made veggie burger. Oh, and portabello burgers. :)

Roasted peppers, cream cheese, and rocket on brown bread, preferably with a sweet onion relish.
Rocket is a peppery salad leaf with long thin wavy leaves. Really delicious.

1. American cheese, pickles, tomatoes, avocado, & sprouts on squaw bread.
2. fried egg, american cheese and slices of sweet banana peppers with a little mustard on wheat.
3. peanut butter & pickles
4. Subway or Quizno's veggie on wheat, no onions - they are both really good
5. Panera Bread's mediteranean veggie sandwich - piquant peppers, feta cheese, cucumbers, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and cilantro hummus on tomato basil bread.
