If the majority of clients of a particular business don't like something, then the business is smart to cater to them. If you try to do what EVERYBODY wants, you won't have any customers, so you go with what sells the most. If Halal/Kosher cuisine does the job, then that's what they are going to sell. If the LACK of Halal/Kosher food would kill off their sales, you don't have the right to demand that they cater to YOU. A business is NOT a democracy - it's a private enterprise, and they can sell whatever they like, as long as it's not illegal.

I've NEVER bought bacon in a KFC, in fact I almost always go there for the CHICKEN! In fact I worked in a couple of KFCs about 30 years ago, hell, I was even an assistant manager of one, and I never even SAW bacon in a KFC!
All religion aside, I truly believe that both YOU and the KFC Corporation will get by just fine without the bacon. (I'm not personally against bacon, I'm not a Jew or a Muslim, in fact I eat quite a lot of it on hamburgers, breakfasts, in casseroles etc., I just see absolutely NO need to get it at a KFC! Religious freedom or NOT!)

UNFAIR??????? YES . . . YES . . . YES . . . YES . . . YES!!
If all other KFC restaurants put bacon in their products why should this store be any different??
If a culture doesn't like the bacon then that culture doesn't have to buy the burger with the bacon or it can ask not to have the bacon.
Jeez!!! Whats this world coming too. . .

Don't be fooled - KFC isn't interested in anybody's religion - they just want to sell their product and fatten their bottom line.
If enough people feel it is unfair and stop going to KFC - I guarantee that they will start selling double and triple bacon wrapped chicken legs in no time at all.

I've never heard of a KFC that sells bacon!! But maybe that's because I've only ever eaten at British and Japanese KFCs..!
Do they REALLY sell bacon in most Australian KFCs? If so, are you sure it's not just that they've ALL stopped selling it? If something's not popular, it will disappear from the menu. Of course, if it's just not selling well in your local area it's possible that only the one store has stopped, but it seems a little surprising - no wonder you were so shocked!

Hmmm... Well, followers of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam surely wouldn't have any trouble on that.
It's up to the establishment to sell or not sell stuff, but I do agree it's upseting to someone when he/she finds out that his/her favourite menu is no longer avaiable. But if the menu wasn't there to begin with, then it wouldn't be miss as much.
Though I wonder on why a restauraunt that focused on chickens decided to sell pork products in the first place.
Personally, I think that this kind of thing was done to make people upset and fight each other. Since a 'greedy' businessman would prefer to get as many customers that he can get instead of alienating a small part of them.

Most KFC's around me don't even put bacon on their 'bacon burgers' they put ham which is tough and chewy, so your not really missing out on anything.
If you want bacon I would suggest a Maccas like Heathcote where you can still get double bacon cheese burgers, believe it or not, it is real bacon!!! and I hate Maccas..

I think KFC doesn't sell bacon for the reasons other than the religious ones.
