There is currently no cure for herpes, although you'll find plenty of quacky web sites that say there is. Herpes management is very possible by learning what triggers outbreaks for you. Lysine/arganine balance in foods, making sure your clothing "breathes" (cotton as opposed to synthetic fiber underwear) reducing stress and maintaining a healthy weight and activity level are all factors. There are also some topical, inexpensive products that supposedly help make symptoms go away faster. Some interesting figures gleaned from hundreds of hours of research on herpes II: If you've had sex with more than 1 person in your entire life, you have a 20% chance of having herpes. Many people who have herpes virus in thier systems don't know it because they either have never had symptoms, their symptoms were so mild they didn't notice them or when they noticed them the symptoms were misdiagnosed. Only 1 in 5 people with herpes II is aware that they have it. Approximately 1 in 5 adult americans between 14 and 74 has herpes II. This means in a room of 100 adult americans, 20 of them have herpes, but only 5 of them know about it. About 15% of herpes appearing in the personal area is Herpes 1, and about 15% of herpes appearing on the mouth is really herpes ll. Herpes sufferers are not alone, and with management it isn't a big deal. Pregnancy is a special issue with herpes so if that is an issue for you, research it. Best of luck!

Having been diagnosed with herpes and told there is no cure I have studied this quite extensively. There is no way to eliminate the herpes anti-bodies that come up once you have been infected by herpes. Just like there is no way to eradicate anti-bodies for chicken pox, small pox or measles once you have been infected or vaccinated. However, Anti-bodies are not actual viral load or matter. Studying viral matter requires a separate PCR/DNA test that very few people seem to take as it is very expensive. I myself have gone from a positive viral load in the blood to none coming up. This was achieved by taking nosodes and hyperisince along with complete absistence from alcohol and changes in diet and lifestyle. Yet my Igg which indicates anti-bodies is positive and this is what leads to the no cure theory. What one should focus on is their quality of life and I can assure you that life is a lot better when you are not itching and coming up with new sores every month. It has now been 4 years since I had an outbreak and I'm truly glad to have my life back...Cure or no cure is not what matters to me. What does is that I am once again in a healthy relationship, and not experiencing the physical and emotional pain I thought would accompany me forever.

I got diagnosed with herpes type 2 about seven years ago, when I was still in college and had a stupid 1 night stand. I know a lot of girls will say this but I swear I never did that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and, suddenly, it seemed like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. After all, who wants to go out with a girl who has sores around her "you know what" area? But after a friend shared this video https://tr.im/zM4mO everything changed. Not only was I able to remove all traces of the herpes virus from my system in less than three weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just last week, in front of everyone in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This program gave me back the chance to be happy, and to experience true love again. Now I want to help by sharing this with others.

No... there isn't. There are treatments, but as one doctor and a few girls who had it told me.... the treatments can be worse than the disease.
It will come back, because although the treatment can help with the symptoms, there is no cure and it remains in your system. It can also be spread even when you don't have symptoms.
Best Wishes,
Sue
