I know the confusion!! I have the same things as your mom and it is so hard to figure out what is good and bad. Basically I have learned to stick with low calorie, low fat, low cholesterol foods. Small portions, no big meals (maybe 6 small meals instead of 3) are key also. For breakfast - 1/2 banana, or hi-fiber cereal with skim milk. Small portions of fruit are good. Mid morning - 1 cup pop corn, 3 cheese/peanut butter crackers or 1/2 apple with peanut butter. Lunch - small portion of lean ham or turkey, sliced tomatos, or maybe low fat cottage cheese with tomatos. Cup of soup with a few crackers. Things like that. She should have a mid afternoon snack, similar to morning snack. Dinner can be small portion of lean meat, chicken or fish. Fresh veggies are good any time. Small salad with low fat dressing, lots of veggies in it. You get the idea. It is the most boring and depressing diet, but it will help if she can stick to it. Exercise will help a lot, and if she's at a good weight, then exercising will allow a little more leeway in the calorie part of it. If she can't stick to it all the time, be very encouraging and supportive to help her get back to it. It's impossible to be perfect, and if she allows for a once a month or so special treat, it can help get through the tough times.
Tell her good luck! It's awesome that you are taking the time to try to help.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.

I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

I know for high blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol she need to eat a lot of greens. My mom has those three. Boiled vegetables are very good. No fried food. Baked foods that cut out the fat. Also get a juicer and make your own natural juices as the ones in stores might have added sugar. It never hurts to take Noni. It taste awful but the benefits out weigh the taste.

You should ask her doctor though. I am hardly qualified to tell you what she should eat.

I have several of those conditions and I know what you mean. The joke that I use is that I can only eat chemicals - no natural food. Sometimes I feel that I don't nrrd to eat - all of the pills substitue for a meal.

I do the best I can but concentrate on moderation. Also I haven't touched salt in years. Sugar is also gone. With everything else I concentrate on moderation. Hasn't been a whopping success but has helped.

I think your mother needs to see a dietician. Her Dr.might be able to refer her to one. One who specializes in diabetes is a good start. Often these conditions are very connected. & if you become familar with what work for diabetes the others fall into place. There should be a no. for the diabetes society in your phone book They are an excellant source. They often hold seminars design to teach people how to eat & take their Meds. to control this condition. Once it is explained in words that can be understood, It will be much easier to accomplish. The mystery of all those diet sheets begin to make sense. Give them a call.

A health educator and dietician should be a regular part of her healthcare team. Contact your local chapter of the American Diabetes Association to find out where she can find people who have expertise in these areas. Your mother is unique, and needs individualized attention and instruction from experts.
