i discovered that i have hyperthyroidism when i was pregnant with my second child. Is it also possible that he can also acquire hyperthyroidism coz i can see sign and symptoms like excessive sweating and being hyper most of the time.

not necessarily. though hyperthyroidism kids seem to be hyperactive, they are more like sick and restless. if the boy is hyper and is healthy i dont thnk he needs a thyroid profile. for ur satisfaction a fT3, fT4 and a TSH may be done. with anti-TSH-R antibodies

having hyperthroidism does not make you hyper in the sense of being hyperactive, its overstimulation of your throid gland..

Please do blood test T3 , T4 , TSH . shall tell you about the function of your thyroid gland .
