I believe that either of them is good. People should avoid emphasis on forcing it on a particular gender to propose to the other one. The bottom line is for the proposing to be done and a relationship deeply rooted in love be established - regardless of which of them started it.

we have our own feelings and rights about love but regarding proposal period between the opposite sex, i advice you that it is better for a guy to propose first.why? well it is because it has always been a tradition that guys are more brave to say their feelings instantly than girls and that it feels special for a girl if a man proposes to her first.

Either one is good as long as the recipient of the proposal is really receptive & says yes.
