For the last 13 days - nothing!!! - cos it was constantly raining. But today the sky is clear and i can see into my back garden: greenhouse (reminds me the plants need watering), the lawn(reminds me the leaves need raking), the trampoline (the kids haven't been jumping on it for a while)! The garage (we need to finish painting the last side wall) the bird house (needs more seeds and water) - Gosh!!! thanks for reminding me of my chores...

Beleive me when I say this, grey skies, blowing snow that whistles a certain song only those birds you see eating from your birdfeederknow. Even though your neighbours trees might fall on your house, the whistling wind will save you, it'll blow the tree in the other direction.Where I am at, the wind is swirling a song of cold winds yet to come along with ever freezing frost that clings to the bones. The weather plays a romantic roll in everyday life yet its what makes us feel............

I see my fence and the trees overhanging it. Every now and again a couple of black squirrels go charging along the fence pausing every now and again to squirt the fence posts. Sometimes they throw themselves into the trees to get away from squirrels coming in the opposite direction. Behind the trees are houses and a church with a tall, white steeple and next to the church is a school with the children playing in the playground. The sun is shining, the sky is blue, but it's only just above freezing.

My blinds are closed nowcause its night time but during the day I see our drive way then the birdbath in the garden along the fence. We often get turtle neck doves, starlings, blackbirts and sometimes sparrows visit the birdbath. The doves come for a drink but the starlings love to splash around and have aproper bath. I live in the city where there is a lot of concrete, brick, steel, bitumen and tile so I realy enjoy seeing the wildlife visit my birdbath. My cat likes to look out the window too.

I see my back garden, and beyond that, a field of sheep, edged with trees, and a white farmhouse in the distance. That's looking towards the west and when the sun sets behind the trees, they're silhouetted beautifully against a red sky.
