First you need to determine why your hair is thinning. There are several causes. If you recently had a baby, then hair loss is normal afterward and you will be fine. If not, then you need to do further investigating. Low thyroid function can also cause hair loss. If you get treatment for this your hair should recover. Menopause seems to be a time when women lose hair, too. Other causes can be heriditary. If your mom had thin hair it may run in your family. Rogaine can help with this type of hair loss and menopausal hair loss, just be aware, you will have to continue using it and it takes quite a while to see the effect. I would recommend mentioning the hair loss to your doctor and get his take on what is causing it. Keep your chin up!
