General Fred Franks no longer serves but he was missing half a leg. There are quite a few lower ranking officers still serving with injuries of various types.

They are not while they are in the service, but the day after retirement they will put in a disability claim for 100% and get it.

I know an Air Force EOD enlisted type who lost a leg in the Sandbox but succesfully petitioned to stay active duty. he's teaching now.
