I am rather creative and I have designed the vast majority of my own ink work using themes from religious art and world culture. I reccomend you find a design gathered from something meaningful or special for yourself by intensive research or introspection. In 50 years do you want to have some garish flash art that millions of other people are walking around with. It's also not proper to use tattoos that other people have posted as examples. I hope I could assist. Peace

I went through so many websites for good tattoo designs before my tattoo, but actually when you go to the tattoo shop, they have so many to choose from and I'm sure you will find lots that you like, and you can't decide which one to use. I ended up choosing one from the albums they have, rather than using any of those I've picked from the website, which are mostly small and you can't really see.

i would suggest not looking on websites for tattoo designs. atleast not for flash. but my tattoo artist http://www.myspace.com/jctattoos has quite a few cool concepts that you may be able to use. the issue of covering a scar shouldn't be handled by just any tattooer. make sure you research your artist and see their portfolio. it would be a bad thing to have your arm covered with a mediocre tattoo, and believe me, i have seen plenty of those.
i hope you will chose to get a customized tattoo that is unique to you. you'll be very happy about it in the end. good luck!!
