it gives me great pleasure that "alcohol abuse" is forbidden in christianity .... n yeah.. we shud all work together to fight these social evils

two buckets doesnt mean 20 litres.. gosh.. our body only has 5 litres of blood..

hematemesis doesnt mean that it contains ONLY blood... it means containing blood..

n abt my spellings.. i wrote "what" as "wut" uz this is wut i use as shortcuts for typin fast ..

n abt Alcohol havin some healthy effects etc... let me tell u.. in the Quran Allah has said that there might be some benefits in Alcohol .. but these benefits r very less as compared to its bad effects..
n since if u allow it.. there wud be a hi rate to abuse of it.. n therefore many social problems.. n thats why Allah/God has forbidden it!!!

n yeah Jesus (pbuh) was the prophet of Goid.. n i believe that he didnt drink wine.. n i luv him the way i luv Muhammad (pbuh)

I don;t think I would say that alcohol is forbidden in Christianity. Jesus told us that the believer is the temple of God, so it would be sinful to defile the temple. Alcohol used in small quantities is actually healthful. A glass of wine with dinner can aid in digestion and is a good source of vitamins that fight free radicals in the body. You are a doctor you know these things. A total ban is not the intention of God. My God used wine a lot. You claim Him as a prophet but he used wine.. I guess now you are going to tell me that Jesus is evil... I hope not I get real tired of having the members of your faith insult my Lord... Jim

Salaam,

Well,I agree with you and I don't.I had a dear uncle die from liver realated illness because he drank a case of beer a day.So I agree that over use is bad.

However I like a beer just as much as the next guy.I could live with out alcohol, but I don't have to so I'm not going to.My father drinks a glass of red wine everyday because he's had a heart attack, and it's been proven that red wine is good for the heart.

sure alcohol is carefully banned in Islam 2:219 'They ask you approximately intoxicants (alcohol and different drugs) and playing. Say: “In them is excellent harm (banned), and a earnings for the human beings; yet their harm is extra effective than their earnings' Even Muslims shouldn't flow into places the place alcohol is served because of the fact the prophet banned us. present day researches say that alcohol spreads around the air and human beings can scent it. All drugs,creams,nutrition... with alcohol as an element are banned.

You say he vomitted TWO buckets of blood in front of you, yet the human body doesn't contain 2 buckets (20 litres) of blood.
Also if you are a medical student I would be reluctant to visit you for medical advice given your level of pre-school text message spelling.

Yes alcohol is forbidden in Islam and excessive drinking is warned about in Judaism and Christianity.

Moderate drinking (one or two wines with a meal) is encouraged in Judaism and Christianity however, and modern science claims heart disease and stroke may be prevented by moderate drinking in older people.

If a person cannot moderate his own drinking however then it is better that he abstain completely. Given the level of violence in the Islamic world I agree with Allah for your people.

Peace be upon you

Alchohol abuse is forbidden by Christians too. We need to talk to each other, and support one another in the name of God.

Small amounts of alcohol have been proven to be quite beneficial to health, especially red wine, and must be consumed on a regular basis. I have seen someone die from eating peanuts. It was a horrible death, so does your silly god see fit to outlaw peanuts for everyone? Before you impose you stinking superstitions on the rest of us, be assured that we will resist that TO THE MAXIMUM.
