Kindness, giving, and hatred are all learned aspects of society....
A baby is born in the world taking.... all things are supplied them. They will believe things should be given them always.....
But, when they learn a new way of doing things, all these things will come along..... But, it is learned......

It was Christmas when I was 6. My family was low on money and I knew we would not get more that one gift(witch was fine as a kid you love to have even one gift :D) Some great people I knew stopped by the house and left some presents for me and my whole family.We were all soo happy and my parents were so happy that we could have a great Christmas.I learned that day that the greatest thing in the world is seeing the happiness on peoples faces

I don't remember being taught. I just remember feeling good watching other people open my presents.
I guess thats a kind of learning, especially since adults seem to make a big deal about a kids present. I guess that is a kind of teaching, too.

Mav had to learn on her own. Her parents weren't very giving people.
Mav found the joy of giving by first having people give to her.
