I ask because there is a competition on in the office, the tin is sealed and the closest person to it wins the whole tin. buying another to count defeats the object of a cheap tin of chocs.

Oh wow what a neat question! Well for the interests of modern science I have opened my tin of celebrations before christmas (shock horror!) and I have counted them! In my tin there are 149, oh wait 148.... oh no 147... wow so yummy! hope that helps you out xxx

Using a 1 oz weight for each chocolate, 42 would be average. If you are a choco-holic, not enough...if you are allergic, way too many!
