Whats on in the clubs or pubs in these areas on nye?Not too expensive but guaranteed to be a goods night

Depends... In Newcastle, the Quayside isn't having the party this year, so it'll be a free for all in all the pubs down there, or you could go to the Academy instead - I would imagine that would be good.
You could also go to Durham - everyone goes to Palace Green at midnight for general fun and with the new bars around the Gala Theatre there should be plenty on. Wouldn't like to think about getting home though 'cos the taxi's are rubbish in my experience!
