The greatest causes of war, bigotry and hatred are a failure to communicate openly and trying to force others to comply with your beliefs. Open, honest dialog between people would resolve so much without the need for bloodshed.

I thought that was what the UN, Nato, and all the other organizations were. It is hard to have a dialog with someone that wants to kill you.

International dialogue means that countries are cooperating and coordinating their actions involving culture, trade and military aspects of the world.

No, as there are many forms of communications, not just the spoken word.
It is important that countries retain some of their own culture via their language.
